Description

Raise the hood smoothly and hold it steady with the Stabilus Hood Lift Support 5B-875974, an 11.83-inch gas-charged strut with Lift-O-Mat dynamic damping. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2013 INFINITI JX35 and 2014-2020 INFINITI QX60 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for full engine-level details.

Dynamic damping speed control: a longitudinal velocity-manifold groove pressed into the tube wall lets gas flow around the piston for a fluid opening motion, with no bouncing or jerking during cycling.
Controlled soft stop: the groove profile narrows toward the end of the stroke for a gentle, controlled stop with minimal impact.
Corrosion-resistant coatings: part coatings are tested to automotive standards for corrosion resistance.
