Lift the tailgate with a smooth, controlled motion using the Stabilus Liftgate Lift Support 3B-693351 (also written 3B693351), a gas-charged lift support with dynamic speed control. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2018 Ford C-MAX — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment details.

This is Stabilus' Lift-O-Mat design, which uses a longitudinal groove (a velocity manifold) pressed into the tube wall so gas flows around the piston with the extension speed and damping engineered for this application. As the stroke nears its end, the groove profile gradually narrows for a gentle, controlled stop.
