Description

Open and hold your Ford Edge's rear hatch with smooth, controlled motion using the Stabilus Liftgate Lift Support 4B-237569. This gas-charged lift support is a direct-fit replacement for the 2007-2014 Ford Edge (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment) and uses Stabilus Lift-O-Mat dynamic damping to raise and steady the liftgate without bouncing or jerking.

Dynamic damping speed control: a longitudinal groove (velocity manifold) pressed into the tube wall lets gas flow around the piston, creating a fluid opening motion tuned for this application.
Gentle end-of-stroke stop: the groove profile narrows toward the end of the stroke for a controlled stop with minimal impact.
Based on the OE design to help ensure proper fit, form, and function.
Corrosion-resistant coatings tested to automotive standards; easy to install with no special tools.

For best results, replace lift supports in pairs so both sides operate evenly. Sold individually.
