Stabilus Liftgate Lift Support P/N:4B-816941
Hold your Nissan Rogue's hatch open smoothly with the Stabilus Liftgate Lift Support 4B-905132, a left-side (L), 20.37-inch gas-charged strut with dynamic speed control. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue and the 2014-2015 Nissan Rogue Select — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full engine-level details.
This is Stabilus's Lift-O-Mat design, which uses a longitudinal groove (a velocity manifold) pressed into the tube wall so gas flows around the piston with extension speed and damping engineered for this application. The groove narrows toward the end of the stroke for a gentle, controlled stop.
Signs a lift support may need replacing include a liftgate that drops on its own, opens slowly, or won't stay up. For best results, replace in pairs.

What vehicles does this lift support fit?
It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue and the 2014-2015 Nissan Rogue Select. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm fitment for your vehicle.
Which side is this lift support for?
This is the left-side (L) unit. It measures 20.37 inches and is a gas-charged support with dynamic speed control.
Should I replace both lift supports at once?
For best results, replace them in pairs. Doing both sides together helps keep the liftgate opening and holding evenly.
What is dynamic damping speed control?
Stabilus's Lift-O-Mat uses a groove pressed into the tube wall so gas flows around the piston with engineered damping, creating a fluid opening motion with no bouncing or jerking.
How do I know my lift support has failed?
Signs include a liftgate that drops on its own, opens slowly, or won't stay up. If a worn lift support is the cause, this replaces it.
