Stabilus Trunk Lid Lift Support P/N:5B-151305

Raise and hold your trunk with a smooth, controlled motion using the Stabilus Trunk Lid Lift Support (P/N 5B-151305, also written 5B151305). This gas-charged lift support measures 11.30 inches and drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang. A worn support that no longer holds the lid up, drifts down slowly, or opens with a bounce or jerk is a sign this part may need replacing.

Built around Stabilus Lift-O-Mat technology, it uses a longitudinal velocity-manifold groove pressed into the tube wall so gas flows around the piston with extension speed and damping tuned for this application, and the groove narrows toward the end of the stroke for a gentle, controlled stop.
