Standard Ignition Brake Light Switch P/N:SLS-186
Help your brake lights signal every stop to the drivers behind you with the Standard Ignition SLS-90 Brake Light Switch, also called a stoplight switch. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1987-1990 Jeep Wrangler, 1984-1990 Jeep Cherokee and 1984-1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer; see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
A brake light switch closes the stoplight circuit when the brakes are applied and opens it when they are released. If your brake lights stay on, fail to light, or flicker, a worn switch may be the cause. Bulbs, fuses and wiring can produce the same signs, so diagnose the circuit before you replace parts.
See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-specific details.
