Standard Ignition Diesel Glow Plug Relay P/N:RY-575
Standard RY-316 diesel glow plug relay for the 1987-1994 Ford F-250 and other vehicles switches battery current to the glow plugs on a diesel engine. It is a glow plug controller.
A long crank on cold mornings or glow plugs that never warm up can mean the relay is worn. These signs alone do not prove the relay is the problem, since a failed glow plug can cause them as well. The engine takes one relay.
This relay is listed for a wide range of Ford models, including the 1987-1994 Ford F-350 and the 1987-1989 Ford E-250 Econoline Club Wagon. If your truck or van isn't named here, look up its year and engine on the Buyer's Guide tab.
