Keep your intake manifold's runner valves switching on cue with the Standard Ignition Engine Intake Manifold Runner Solenoid RCS105. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for many listed Mazda applications, among them the 2004-2013 Mazda 3 2.0L / 2.5L, 2012-2014 Mazda 5 2.5L and 2009-2013 Mazda 6 2.5L.

• Controls runner vacuum: Regulates engine vacuum to the intake manifold runner control actuator that opens and closes the runner valves.
• Tunes intake airflow: As the runner valves change position, the length and velocity of the metered intake air are matched to engine speed.

Signs the runner solenoid may need attention include a check engine light with an intake manifold runner control trouble code and sluggish low- or high-rpm response.
