It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2001-2002 Chevrolet Express 1500, 2500 and 3500 and the 2001-2002 GMC Savana 1500, 2500 and 3500. A column switch is used every time you signal, flash the hazards or run the wipers, so it can wear over time. Signs it may need replacing include turn signals that work only intermittently or won't cancel, hazard lights that won't activate, and wipers that don't respond to the lever. Other components or wiring can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the circuit first. If the switch is the cause, CBS-1181 replaces it.
