Signs this part may need replacing: The headlights may stay stuck on one beam, a beam setting may cut out or work only intermittently, or nothing may change when you operate the switch. Bulbs, wiring and connections can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the headlight circuit first. If a worn dimmer switch is the cause, the DS-40 replaces it.
