Standard Ignition Headlight Switch P/N:HLS-1047
Take command of your headlamps with a fresh Standard Ignition switch. The HLS-1267 Headlight Switch is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, the 2005-2006 Ford Five Hundred and the 2005-2006 Mercury Montego. It is the control you use to switch the headlight circuit on and off. Engine details for each application are listed in the Buyer's Guide tab.
Signs this part may need replacing: headlights that won't come on, flicker, or work only in certain switch positions, or a switch that feels loose or inconsistent when operated. Burned-out bulbs, blown fuses, failed relays and damaged wiring can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the lighting circuit before replacing the switch. If the original headlight switch is the cause, the HLS-1267 replaces it.
