Standard Ignition Idle Air Control Valve P/N:AC594
Standard Ignition AC87 fuel injection idle air control valve for the 1995-2009 Nissan Pickup 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles adjusts the air let in at idle to hold engine speed steady. A stepping motor moves a pintle to open or close the air passage.
A worn valve can show up as a rough idle, stalling when you stop, or idle speed that sits too high or too low. Those symptoms also come from other causes, such as a vacuum leak or a dirty throttle body, so with the engine off and cool, look over the valve's connector and wiring for damage before you replace it.
This valve also fits the 2009 Nissan NP300 4-cylinder 2.5L and the 1991-1994 Nissan Ichi Van 4-cylinder 2.4L. If your car is not one of these, look up your year and engine in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
