Standard Ignition Ignition Switch P/N:US-137
Route battery power to the ignition and starter circuits at the turn of the key with the Standard Ignition Ignition Starter Switch, part number US-637. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1997 Kia Sephia. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-specific details.
The ignition starter switch is the electrical side of the ignition system. As the key moves through its positions, the switch routes battery power to the accessory, run and start circuits, including the signal that engages the starter.
Signs this part may need replacing: the engine doesn't crank when the key is turned to start, dash lights or accessories cut out, or the engine stalls or loses power intermittently with the key in the run position. These symptoms can have other causes, so diagnose the ignition circuit before you replace the switch.
