Standard Ignition Mass Air Flow Sensor P/N:MAS0243
Standard Motor Products
Standard Ignition MAS0258 mass air flow sensor for the 2007-2008 GMC Sierra 1500 V8 6.2L and other vehicles reports intake airflow to the ECU. The ECU uses that reading to balance the air/fuel ratio for clean burns.
Rough idle, hesitation or lower fuel economy can be linked to an airflow sensor problem. Before you replace the sensor, rule out a vacuum leak, damaged intake ducting or a clogged air filter that could be behind those symptoms.
As a direct-fit OE replacement, it is listed for a wide range of Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac models, led by the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe V8 6.2L and the 2007-2008 GMC Yukon V8 6.2L. Each engine takes one sensor. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
