This is the caliper-mounted motor-and-gear unit that drives the piston to clamp and release the parking brake — when a failed actuator is the cause of a parking-brake warning light or a brake that won't engage or release, this replaces it. It installs as a direct-fit OE replacement for the 2019-2021 and 2023-2025 Acura RDX, 2021-2025 Acura TLX, 2018-2025 Honda Accord, 2016-2022 and 2024-2025 Honda Civic, and 2019-2022 Honda Insight [All engines].
