Keep your front wheels tight, tracking straight and safely located with the Mevotech Supreme Suspension Ball Joint MK80591. This Nissan Frontier ball joint installs as a front lower, direct-fit replacement for the 1998-2004 Nissan Frontier and 2000-2004 Nissan Xterra (see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full engine-level fit). A ball joint connects the control arm to the steering knuckle and pivots as the wheel steers and travels; a worn one can show up as clunking on acceleration, deceleration or over bumps, loose steering, or uneven tire wear — if the ball joint is the cause, this replaces it.
