A control arm bushing sits between the control arm and its mounting point. It lets the arm pivot as the suspension moves and isolates road vibration from the body. Signs a worn bushing may need replacing include clunking or knocking over bumps, a loose or wandering steering feel, uneven tire wear, and rubber that is visibly cracked, torn or separated. If a worn front lower rearward bushing is the cause, MS25441 replaces it.
