Description

Keep high-voltage spark energy flowing from the coil to the plug with the ThunderCore PRO ThunderSpark Coil Boot 900-P2024. It's an OE-replacement boot for the 2005-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer, swapping in for a worn or cracked original to restore proper spark isolation in coil-on-plug (COP) and coil-near-plug (CNP) ignition systems.

In a COP/CNP setup, the coil boot serves as the insulative path between the ignition coil and the spark plug. Over time these boots can degrade from heat, vibration, or chemical exposure, which may lead to arc-through, misfires, or hard starting. If a failed boot is the cause of those symptoms, this replaces it.
