This grease/oil seal uses a precision sealing design to keep lubricant from escaping and to stop harmful contaminants from getting in. It is listed for many models, among them the 2011-2012 Ram 1500, 2011-2012 Ram 2500 and 2008-2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, and is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications.

A torque converter seal sits where the converter hub enters the transmission. The seal body stays stationary while its lip rides on the rotating hub, which helps hold automatic transmission fluid inside and block outside debris.
