Keep the transmission securely located and tame driveline vibration with the Anchor Transmission Mount 2880, a rear-position mount that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and 1993-2002 Pontiac Firebird. It helps support and locate the transmission while isolating engine and driveline vibration from the chassis, so worn, cracked, or separated original rubber can be brought back to like-new control of powertrain movement.
Supports and dampens: cradles the rear of the transmission and absorbs vibration for smoother operation.
Engineered to OE standards: designed using a CAD/CAM process for consistent fit and quality.
Durable rubber: built from natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages; a Chemlock® bonding agent creates a strong rubber-to-metal bond.
Application-tuned hardness: the rubber is manufactured to a specific Durometer (hardness) based on vehicle application requirements.
Any fasteners supplied are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts; consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.
