Description

Quiet the driveline shudder and keep your gearbox properly located with the Anchor transmission mount, part number 2717. This is the LEFT transmission mount, engineered to help support and locate the transmission while isolating the vibration it sends into the chassis. It installs as a direct-fit replacement on many vehicles, among them the 1990-1999 Ford Taurus, 1995-1996 and 1999-2003 Ford Windstar, and 1988-2002 Lincoln Continental — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine-level breakdown.

Supports and dampens: cradles the transmission and absorbs vibration so it isn't transmitted into the body.
Purpose-built rubber: made with natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages, with the durometer (hardness) tuned to the vehicle application.
Bonded to last: Chemlock® bonding agent creates a superior rubber-to-metal bond, and the design is developed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM engineering process.

If a worn or separated original mount is behind vibration at idle or a clunk on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, this Anchor automatic transmission mount replaces it. Any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.
