If a leaking rear air strut has your Lexus sitting low, the Arnott Industries Air Suspension Strut AS-2856 replaces it with a complete, pre-assembled rear strut assembly built with OE-quality components. Engineered by Arnott as an aftermarket replacement for the original strut, it fits the 2007-2012 Lexus LS460 and the 2008-2012 Lexus LS600h when equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). A single unit serves either the left or right side.

At its core, a new, custom-tuned shock absorber pairs with a heavy-duty ContiTech air bladder shielded by an aluminum can.

  • Multi-ply ContiTech air spring bladder: designed to hold air pressure for consistent ride height and performance.
  • Aircraft-quality aluminum: the top mount and sealing cap are CNC-machined from aircraft-quality aluminum.
  • Arnott seals and components: built with Arnott's seals, O-rings, bump stop, heavy-duty crimping rings and air fitting, plus a dust boot that protects the shock.
  • Easy installation: arrives pre-assembled, and detailed installation instructions are available.

Designed and assembled in the USA. For best results, Arnott recommends replacing air struts in pairs. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.

Signs a rear air strut may need replacing include a rear corner sitting low after parking, an audible air leak, or the air compressor running more often than usual. Diagnose the air system first, since lines and fittings can also leak.
