Arnott Industries Suspension Shock Absorber P/N:SK-3816
Precision-tuned for ride control, the Arnott Industries SK-2867 rear shock absorber is a brand-new, gas-filled replacement custom tuned to provide an OE-like ride. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2010-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350, 2007-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL450 and 2008-2012 Mercedes-Benz GL500 equipped with Airmatic and the Adaptive Damping System (ADS). See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
A shock absorber damps rear suspension movement over bumps and road irregularities to help keep the ride controlled. This Arnott shock replaces the worn OE rear shock and converts the damping from active to passive. The included sensor is designed to bypass ADS and turn off the related dashboard warning lights.
Designed and assembled in the USA, where Arnott assembles and packages these replacement shocks. For best results, Arnott recommends replacing the shocks in pairs.

Signs include excessive bouncing or float over bumps, a harsh or unsettled ride, and fluid leaking from the shock body. Other parts can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing.
