Beck/Arnley CV Joint Boot Kit P/N:103-3018
Keep grease sealed in and road grit out with the Beck/Arnley CV Joint Boot Kit 103-2250 (also written 1032250), an outer CV joint boot kit that reseals the flexible cover protecting a constant-velocity joint. It's a direct-fit replacement for a wide range of applications, including the 1989-1991 Audi 100, 1970-1977 Audi 100 Series, 1978-1988 Audi 5000, 1987-2001 Porsche 911, 1990-1993 Geo Storm, 1995-1997 Saab 9000, 1988-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet and 1987-1992 Volkswagen Jetta — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
Note: this kit is not intended for installation tools that stretch the small end of the boot over the CV joint. A boot that is cracked, split or slinging grease is a common sign it may need replacing; if a torn boot is the cause, resealing it early helps keep contaminants out of the joint. Diagnose the joint condition before installing.
What does this kit include?
The Beck/Arnley 103-2250 kit includes the CV joint boot, grease, and clamps. The grease contains an extreme-pressure additive for packing the joint during assembly.
What does a CV joint boot do?
It's a flexible cover over the constant-velocity joint that holds the grease in and keeps dirt and water out, helping protect the joint from contamination.
How do I know the boot needs replacing?
Common signs are a cracked, split, or leaking boot, or grease slung around the joint area. Diagnose the joint's condition before installing a new boot.
Will this fit my vehicle?
It's an application-specific, not universal, kit. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm the year, make, model, and engine match your vehicle before ordering.
Are there any installation notes?
This kit is not intended for installation tools that stretch the small end of the boot over the CV joint. Follow the vehicle service procedure for correct installation.
