This boot seals the tie-rod end of the steering rack, holding the internal lubricant in and contaminants out so the rack and pinion stays protected. It's an application-specific direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2013 Hyundai Genesis, 2010-2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, 2011-2017 Nissan Juke, 2011-2014 Nissan Leaf, 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue, and 2014-2015 Nissan Rogue Select — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
