Tighten up loose, wandering steering and restore a solid connection between the steering linkage and the front wheel with the Beck/Arnley Steering Tie Rod End 101-7636 (also written 1017636). This is the front outer tie rod end, dropping in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2012 Ford Escape, 2009-2011 Mazda Tribute, and 2011 Mercury Mariner (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). It transfers steering input from the tie rod to the steering knuckle, so a worn unit can cause play in the wheel, clunking, and uneven tire wear.
