• Copper-free friction formula: Bosch's patented formula uses an advanced aerospace alloy and complies with 2025 Copper Free legislation. The friction material is formulated and tested by Bosch engineers.
• OE-style rubber core shim: The pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber to steel. They help lower noise and add strength and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE and rubber coated hardware: Helps reduce vibration and noise and is intended to keep the pads from binding in the caliper.
• Powder-coated backing plate: Helps the backing plate resist rust and corrosion.

A protective transfer layer is designed to help extend pad and rotor life. Synthetic lubricant is included to help reduce resistance at the sliding contact points. Bosch's original-equipment braking heritage dates back to 1927.
