BOSCH QuietCast brake pads draw on Bosch's OE braking heritage, which dates back to 1927. Bosch's engineers formulate and test the friction material in the QuietCast line. Bosch's patented copper-free friction formula uses an advanced aerospace alloy and complies with 2025 Copper Free legislation.

• OE-style rubber core shim: The pre-attached multilayer shims bond rubber and steel. They are designed to lower noise and add strength and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE and rubber-coated hardware: Helps reduce vibration and noise and is designed to help prevent binding to the caliper.
• Powder-coated backing plate: Helps prevent rust and corrosion on the brake pad.
• Protective transfer layer: Intended to help extend pad and rotor life.

Synthetic lubricant is included in all applications. It helps reduce resistance on sliding contact points.
