CARDONE New CV Axle Assembly P/N:66-1050HD
The CARDONE New 66-1263 front left cv axle for the 1997-2001 Chevrolet Lumina and other vehicles carries drive torque from the transmission to the wheel hub. It is a new CV axle assembly with CV joints and an ABS tone ring.
Clicking or snapping when you turn with the wheel cut hard, or grease on the chassis and suspension, can mean a joint or boot is failing. These signs alone do not prove the axle is at fault; a broken engine mount can shift the drivetrain and bind the inner joint. The car takes one axle on each side, so order the right side separately if you're doing both.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-2001 Chevrolet Lumina and the 1995-1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, built to O.E. form, fit and function.

No. Use a torque wrench and tighten the retaining nut to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications; an impact wrench should never be used on it.
Why is there grease on my suspension near the CV axle?
