CARDONE Reman Mass Air Flow Sensor P/N:74-10049
A1 CARDONE 74-50094 mass air flow sensor for the 2004-2009 Mazda 3 4-cylinder 2.3L, the 2004-2013 3 4-cylinder 2.0L, the 2010-2013 3 4-cylinder 2.5L and other vehicles measures the air entering the engine and reports it to the engine control system. This remanufactured unit tracks O.E. output curves and holds spec tolerances for accurate scan tool readings.
Hesitation, stalling, poor fuel economy and poor engine performance can be signs of a failing mass air flow sensor, and they also show up with other faults. With the engine off, look over the sensor element for damage or a burnt smell, and check for trouble codes with a scanner before replacing the sensor.
This sensor also fits the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata 4-cylinder 2.0L. If your car is another model or engine, open the "Vehicles it fits" section and look up your exact one there.
