Delphi Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly P/N:TC9506
Delphi TC1449 front left lower control arm with ball joint for the 2004-2009 Mazda 3 and other vehicles links the front left wheel to the chassis and carries the ball joint. Supplied as a control arm and ball joint assembly, it replaces the arm and joint in one piece.
A clunk over bumps, loose-feeling steering or uneven front tire wear can mean a worn arm or ball joint. Other suspension parts can make similar noises, so with the engine off and the car parked, look over the visible parts of the arm for cracks, bends and rust before replacing it.
Besides the 2004-2009 Mazda 3, this control arm fits the 2009 Mazda 3 Sport, the 2006-2010 Mazda 5 and the 2012-2017 Mazda 5, and the front left position takes one arm on each. Control arms are normally replaced as a left and right pair; this listing is a single front left arm, and the front right is a separate part.
