Description

Keep hydraulic pressure moving to your rear drum brakes with the Dorman - First Stop Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder (W37262). It installs in the rear right or rear left position and is engineered to drop in like the original wheel cylinder on the listed applications, including the 1969-1970 International 1200D, 1971-1973 International 1210, 1972-1974 International MS1210, 1990-1994 Ford E-350 Econoline and E-350 Econoline Club Wagon, 1993-1994 Ford E-250 Econoline, and the 1993-1994 Ford F-250 and F-350 (engine: All) — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.

Inside the drum brake, this cylinder receives brake fluid and pushes its pistons outward to force the brake shoes against the drum. Dorman manufactures and tests each unit for quality assurance.

Cast iron body: built with a cast iron housing.
EPDM rubber cups and boots: made with high-quality EPDM rubber cups and boots.
Surface-tested bore: the cylinder bore is surface-tested to provide an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups.
Bore & connection: 1.063 in inside diameter with a 7/16-24 inlet thread; a bleeder screw is included (bleeder screw cap not included).

Signs the original may need replacing include brake fluid leaking at the backing plate, a soft or spongy pedal, or reduced rear braking; if a failed wheel cylinder is the cause, this replaces it.
