See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
Replacing the receiver/filter drier is required to validate compressor warranty and it should be replaced any time the system is opened or serviced, since a leaking or "open" system can saturate the desiccant and leave the drier ineffective.
What does the Four Seasons 33533 do?
It acts as a filter for the A/C system, removing moisture and contaminants that flushing cannot remove. A desiccant bag inside absorbs moisture to help protect the rest of the system.
Will this receiver drier fit my truck?
It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed Freightliner and Peterbilt applications, such as the 1990-1996 FLD120 and 1994-2014 Peterbilt 320. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your exact vehicle.
Are seals and o-rings included?
Yes. Per the manufacturer, the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included for installation.
When should the receiver/filter drier be replaced?
It should be replaced any time the A/C system is opened or serviced, and replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty. A leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant within hours.
What is this drier made of?
It is a steel filter drier with quality welds for a durable, leak-free design.
