Description

Keep coolant flowing where the factory routed it with the GATES heater hose 12256, a premium factory-molded coolant hose that fits the water outlet to thermostat housing position. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2015 Honda Civic, the 2013-2015 Acura ILX, and the 2016 Honda HR-V — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the engine-level applications.

This GATES molded heater hose is factory-molded in an OEM-style shape to fit today's smaller, tighter engine compartments, and carries the quality features of Gates molded coolant hose. It can be used for coolant, water, and air applications and is also approved for marine use.

Construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and EPDM cover.
Specification: meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2.
Electrochemical resistance: engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
Temperature range: -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C).

Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications. Gates recommends replacing the hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.
