Description

Restore heater and coolant circulation with the Gates heater hose 24800, a direct-fit modular coolant hose for the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey. Built for the HEATER position, it moves engine coolant through the heater circuit and installs in place of the original assembly with its factory-style integrated components.

Gates leads the modular assembly coolant hose segment, building each hose to the specific application with the essential integrated components — hose branches, quick-connectors, sensors, restrictors — that mirror the original layout.

EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical-coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Vacuum and degradation resistance: specifically engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum and resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
SAE rated: meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25 mm (1 in.) ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 at 25 mm and over.
Wide temperature range: rated from -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

Gates recommends installing new clamps whenever a coolant hose is replaced. Do not use this hose for fuel or oil transfer applications.
