Description

Keep coolant flowing to the heater core with the Gates heater hose 52103, a modular coolant hose that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2008 Ford Ranger and 2005-2006 Mazda B3000 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details). As part of Gates' modular assembly coolant-hose line, it is built for specific applications and integrates the OE components the routing needs — quick-connectors, branch connectors/tees, sensors and restrictors where applicable. Depending on your vehicle's plumbing it serves the heater-to-valve, valve-to-engine, engine-to-heater or heater right-side runs.

EPDM construction: EPDM tube with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Vacuum resistant: specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum.
Electrochemical degradation resistant: engineered to resist ECD, the leading cause of hose failure.
Rated to spec: meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 under 25mm (1 in.) ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 25mm (1 in.) ID and over; temperature range -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

Gates recommends fitting new clamps whenever a coolant hose is installed. Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
