Firm up the rear ride of your Jeep with the KYB Gas-a-just Suspension Shock Absorber 5550019, a rear high-pressure monotube gas shock that installs as a direct-fit replacement on the 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler and the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment).

• High-pressure monotube design: separates the nitrogen gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response, avoiding the aeration fade of a traditional twin-tube.
• Two working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving.
• Up to 25% more damping: adds up to 25% more damping performance over original-equipment shocks, with components and valving designed for a lifted Wrangler that works, tows, and runs larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• Triple chrome-plated rod: an ultra-smooth triple chrome plated piston rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
