Smooth out the ride and help settle body movement over bumps with the KYB Excel-G Gas Shock 3450006, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube rear shock absorber. • OEA build: the Excel-G is made on KYB OE assembly lines using OE-quality components, calibrated to help restore the vehicle's originally designed control and handling rather than change it (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket).
• Twin-tube, gas-charged: a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design that includes the quality components found in KYB's global OEM products.
• Triple-lip fluid seal: designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
• Vehicle-specific valving: hand-assembled damping valves manage tire contact, steering response and body movement, and KYB's thick strut bodies and brackets minimize flex to help maintain correct alignment.

KYB notes the Excel-G helps keep electronic safety systems performing as designed, since those systems depend on the suspension, brakes and tires operating as the manufacturer intended. Sold individually; replacing both rear shocks as a matched pair is recommended for balanced ride control.
