Description

Keep a heavily loaded Super Duty planted with the KYB MonoMax Shock Absorber 565091, a large-bore, high-pressure monotube gas shock built for trucks that tow, haul, and head off-road. This KYB shock absorber installs in the rear position on the 1999-2004 and 2008-2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty and the 1999-2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty.

The MonoMax is a heavy-duty monotube design intended to add stability for heavier, more powerful, or high-center-of-gravity vehicles. Its valving is designed to adjust to changing driving conditions for fade-free performance, and KYB rates it at up to 40% more damping than standard shock absorbers.
