KYB Suspension Shock Absorber P/N:344338
KYB 565096 front shock absorber for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler and other vehicles is a high pressure monotube gas shock made just for trucks. The large-bore KYB MonoMax adds stability for heavier, more powerful or high center of gravity vehicles that work, go off-road, tow or haul. On a lifted Jeep it is a performance upgrade with up to 40% more damping performance than standard shock absorbers.
A worn front shock can show up as a bouncy ride, nose dive under braking or oily fluid on the shock body. Worn springs, control arm bushings or tires can be behind those signs too, so find the cause before you buy a shock.
This shock fits the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler and the 1997-2006 Jeep TJ. Each takes two, so order two and fit them together.
