KYB Suspension Shock Absorber P/N:KG4536

Sharpen rear ride control with the KYB shock absorber KG4536, a high-pressure monotube Gas-a-Just unit that adds damping over the original equipment design. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1987-1994 Chevrolet Beretta, 1982-1994 Chevrolet Cavalier and 1987-1994 Chevrolet Corsica. This KYB Gas-a-Just shock absorber is built to adjust automatically to driving demands, an advantage over a traditional twin-tube design. It uses two separate working chambers. An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area provides responsiveness and control. A second high-pressure nitrogen gas area, with a floating piston, supports a comfortable ride in normal driving and adds performance on demand.

• More damping: KYB rates it at up to 25% more damping performance than original equipment shocks. The extra damping is intended for vehicles that work, tow, or run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• Fade-free monotube: The high-pressure design keeps gas and oil apart for fade-free operation and instant response.
• Seal protection: Fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure, so KYB uses an ultra-smooth triple chrome-plated piston rod to reduce seal wear.
• Steering and safety systems: The higher gas pressure responds quickly and is designed to improve steering response. KYB states it helps electronic safety systems perform as designed.
