Bring back controlled, confident handling with the KYB shock absorber KG4741, a high-pressure monotube gas shock that drops in as a rear replacement for the 1994-1998 Saab 900. This Gas-a-just monotube is offered as an OE monotube replacement to help restore your vehicle's original ride and control.

• Gas-a-just monotube design: two separate working chambers — an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.
• Triple chrome plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
• Up to 25% more damping: adds damping over original-equipment shocks, with extra control for vehicles that work, tow, or run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• High-pressure monotube: separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and quick response, and the higher gas pressure helps improve steering response.

Components and valving are designed specifically for the Saab 900, and this KYB gas shock absorber helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed. To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts, part number SM5353.
