Firm up a hard-working truck's rear ride with the KYB Gas-a-just Shock Absorber KG5415, a high-pressure monotube gas shock that installs in the rear position on a wide range of Chevrolet and GMC trucks, vans and Suburbans — including the 1973-1974 and 1987-1991 Chevrolet Blazer, 1975-1986 Chevrolet C10/K10, 1973-1986 Chevrolet C10 Suburban and 1973-1991 GMC Jimmy. This KYB gas shock absorber uses a monotube design that separates the nitrogen gas and hydraulic oil for fade-free operation and instant response.

• Monotube gas design: an air-free hydraulic piston/valve area for control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen chamber with a floating piston that resists aeration fade.
• Extra damping: adds up to 25% more damping performance over original-equipment shocks, with components and valving designed specifically for GM trucks that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
• Quick response: higher gas pressure helps improve steering response and keeps electronic safety systems performing as the manufacturer designed.
