Firm up front ride control and steering response with the KYB strut cartridge Excel-G (P/N 365060), a nitrogen gas-charged replacement that fits the front struts of the 1986-1989 Mitsubishi Starion [All] and 1987-1989 Chrysler Conquest [All]. Built on KYB's OE assembly lines using OE-quality components, the Excel-G is calibrated to restore the vehicle's original designed damping rather than change it — the classification KYB calls OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket).

• Twin-tube, gas-charged design: nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube construction with hand-assembled, vehicle-specific damping valves that manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
• Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
• Strong strut bodies: thick strut bodies and brackets help minimize flex to maintain correct alignment.
• Internal rebound bumper included; a dust cover and bump stop are not included. KYB recommends new strut mounts (SM5313) and a strut boot (SB102) when installing.
