It installs in the front right position as a direct-fit replacement for the 1995-1999 Hyundai Accent, delivering a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design built to bring the vehicle back to its original engineered capabilities rather than change them.

To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5149), and protecting the new strut from dirt, debris, and salt with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101). Struts are best replaced as a matched pair across the axle for balanced handling.
