• Anti-drain-back valve: holds oil inside the filter after shutdown so lubrication is available quickly on the next start.
• Bypass relief valve: with a setting of 8–16, it opens to keep oil flowing to the engine if the filter media becomes restricted.
• Lathe-cut sealing gasket: seals against the mounting base to help guard against leaks.
• Spin-on canister: 3/4-16 thread, 3.66 in outside diameter, and a flute count of 15 for straightforward install and removal.
