Nugeon Disc Brake Caliper P/N:99-00568B
Nugeon 99-17778B rear right brake caliper for the 2018-2024 Jeep Compass and other vehicles clamps the brake pads against the rotor to slow the wheel. This remanufactured disc brake caliper is made for the rear right position only.
A caliper that is sticking or leaking can show up as the vehicle pulling to one side under braking, pads worn unevenly, or brake fluid around the caliper. Before deciding it is the caliper, look at the piston boot and slides during a brake service, with the engine off and the brakes cool, and compare pad wear side to side. A shop can test the rest.
It is a brake caliper for the 2018-2024 Jeep Compass, the 2015-2023 Jeep Renegade and the 2016-2023 Fiat 500X. This listing is one caliper for the rear right; the axle takes one on each side, and the other side of that axle is normally done at the same time.

Does the Nugeon caliper come with brake pads?
No. The Nugeon 99-17778B comes with its bracket, slides, dust boots, hardware, bleeder screw and crush washers, but not pads, wear sensors or anti-squeal shims.
What thread does the brake line port on this caliper use?
The inlet port and the bleeder screw are both M10-1.0. The steel piston measures 38.07 mm (1.5 in) across.

No. The bracket mounting bolts and the mounting bolt are not included, and the old ones may not be reusable, so plan on new ones.

A dragging feel, a burning smell after a drive or a low brake pedal can mean a caliper is sticking or leaking. Have brake problems checked promptly rather than driving on them.
