Spectra Premium A/C Condenser P/N:7-9021
Help keep cool air coming from the dash of your truck with the Spectra Premium ac condenser, part number 7-9010. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1996-2011 Freightliner Century Class, 2010-2011 Freightliner Coronado and 1995-2011 Freightliner FLD120.
The condenser sits on the high-pressure side of the A/C system. It releases heat from the hot refrigerant so the refrigerant condenses from a vapor into a liquid before it moves on through the system.
Signs a condenser may need replacing include weak or warm air from the vents with the A/C on, refrigerant or oil residue on the condenser, and physical damage. Other A/C components can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing. If the condenser is at fault, this unit replaces it.
See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details and the full application list.

What does an A/C condenser do?
It releases heat from the hot, high-pressure refrigerant so the refrigerant condenses from a vapor into a liquid before it continues through the A/C system.
What are signs the condenser may need replacing?
Common signs include weak or warm air from the vents, refrigerant or oil residue on the condenser, and physical damage. Diagnose the cause first, because other A/C parts can cause similar symptoms.
Does the A/C system need service when installing a condenser?
Yes. Replacing a condenser opens the refrigerant circuit, so the system must be recovered, evacuated and recharged as directed by the vehicle service information.
Which part numbers does it cross-reference?
It interchanges with numbers including PT40608, CN40608PFC, 2242084, HDC8059 and CON0009. The complete list is in the Interchange line of the description.
