Help keep power moving smoothly through the driveline with Dana/Spicer u joints like the Spicer Universal Joint 5-1410X, a non-greaseable 1410 Series joint from the Spicer Life Series (1410/SPL36). It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1999-2003 Ford F-150, 2004-2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
Spicer designs its Life Series (SPL) joints for longer life, increased bearing capacity and lower maintenance costs. Key features:
- Solid cold-formed journal cross: engineered for better wear and overall strength.
- Bearing cups: heat treated for strength, and precision-ground and case-hardened for durability.
- Multi-lip seal: designed to hold grease in and keep contaminants out, with retention across a wider range of environments.
- Thrust washers: designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact, reduce wear and lower the overall operating temperature.
Specifications: steel construction. OSR style with round bearing caps. Bearing cap diameter is 1.188 in (30.175 mm), and cap-to-cap length is 4.188 in (106.4 mm). External snap rings are included.
