It is a 12-volt, spring-activated switch that turns the stoplights on and off as the brake pedal moves. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1999-2009 Dodge Ram 1500, 1999-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 2002-2012 Jeep Liberty, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications.
